Our Mission  is to promote our statement  "The Cathedral Lenten Fast and Prayer" and to support those Catholic diocesan groups which accept the purposes and invitation that the statement conveys.

The statements were composed by a collaboration of 12 church workers from various locations in the north-eastern U.S., all of whom have long-time commitments to peace and social justice. Their names are on the petition, which itself is a verbatim rendition of the full statement.
